PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a transfer data amount of image data of a print object by considering print density which is actually printed and to prevent deterioration of image quality.SOLUTION: An image processing unit 1 includes: a print density data storage section 134 for previously storing print density data showing print density which is to be taken in the case of quantization of image data with the prescribed number of times of quantization; and a quantization control section 135 for determining the number of times of quantization, which is smaller than the prescribed number of times of quantization, so that at least one of the print densities to which the density comes close, is deleted based on distribution of the print density which is to be taken in the case of quantization of the image data by the prescribed number of times of quantization. |
