PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new biological information imaging apparatus, biological information imaging method and biological information analyzing method.SOLUTION: A subject information acquisition apparatus comprises: an acoustic wave detector which detects an acoustic wave generated in a subject by irradiating a first light to the subject, and converts the acoustic wave into a first electric signal; a photodetector which detects a second light propagated in the subject by irradiating the subject, and converts a second electric signal; and a signal processing part which obtains light volume in the subject based on the second electric signal, and obtains the optical characteristic information in the subject based on the light volume in the subject and the first electric signal. |
