PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate data transmission in replication.SOLUTION: In a replication system, a master side storage system includes a plurality of data transmission means for transmitting data to a replication side storage system in parallel. Each data transmission means generates data feature quantity information based on the content of data to be transmitted to check whether the data feature quantity information is in the course of transmission for the replication side storage system, or exists in a transmission data list where data feature quantity information whose data has been transmitted is stored. Data to be transmitted whose data feature quantity information exists in the transmission data list is not transmitted to the replication side storage system. Data to be transmitted whose data feature quantity information does not exist in the transmission data list is transmitted to the replication side storage system. |
