The luminous flux control member 300 includes a deflection surface 320 that deflects a laser beam L, a first prism train 340 that reflects the laser beam L deflected by the deflection surface 320, a second prism train 360 that reflects the laser beam L reflected by the first prism train 340, and an exit surface 380 that exits the laser beam L reflected by the second prism train 360. The first prism train 320 includes a plurality of first prisms 341 arranged in such a way that the respective first ridge lines 344 of the first prisms 341 are parallel to each other and are positioned on a same first virtual plane 345. The second prism train 360 includes a plurality of second prisms 361 arranged in such a way that the respective second ridge lines 364 of the second prisms 361 are parallel to each other and are positioned on a same second virtual plane 365.
