PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical cable which requires no external power supply for light emission.SOLUTION: A light-emitting member 3 includes an EL element 3c and a thermoelectric transducer 3b. The thermoelectric transducer 3b is provided on the side of an electric wire 2, and the EL element 3c is provided so as to emit light toward the outside surface of a sheath layer 4. The EL element 3c and the thermoelectric transducer 3b are connected electrically through a connection clip 3d. |
