PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide platform safety fence posts, which can secure a good clear space in the vicinity of a platform edge part at a line side and at an upper space of a post casing when a conductor watches the top side of a train, which are good in design, which can smoothly support the lifting of ropes disposed along an edge part of the line side of a station platform, which realize a control unit according to one train, and which provide a platform safety fence made the control unit.SOLUTION: Platform safety fence posts 11 L, 12, 13 comprise: housing internal spaces 31a, 41a, 51a; upper end opening parts 31b, 41b, 51b; fixing parts 31, 41, 51 having rope insertion parts 31c, 41c, 51c; lifting parts 32, 42, 52 housed in the housing internal spaces of the fixing parts and lifting through the upper end opening parts while supporting ropes 14 disposed along a platform edge 15a using the rope insertion parts; and drive parts 33, 43, 53 provided in the fixing parts and lifting the lifting parts. |
