PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically determine the number of physical servers so as to enable suppression of an occurrence probability of the physical server exceeding specifications when relocating a virtual server in an ID space at a time of physical server failure.SOLUTION: A server resource management device 40 comprises: a server built-in determination unit 43 that, when a normal physical server 70 accepts data on a virtual server 70a into which a failure physical serve 70 is divided at a time when the physical server 70 is failed, preliminarily determines a prescribed probability as a threshold on the basis of a probability that the physical server 70 exceeding specifications of the physical server 70 occurs from a plurality of normal physical servers 70, obtains the number of physical servers 70 required for distributedly relocating a virtual server 70a in an ID space so that the occurrence probability of the physical server 70 exceeding the specifications at the time of the failure is less than the threshold; and a server built-in processing unit 44 that, when the number of existing physical servers of a cluster 60 falls short with respect to the required number of physical servers 70, adds the physical servers 70 of a shortage number. |
