414,402. Adjusting wireless apparatus. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd., Crown House, Aldwych, London.-(Assignees of Jones, N. R. ; 247, Merion Avenue, Haddonfield, and Dewhurst, W. W. ; 704, King's Highway, Haddon Heights, both in New Jersey, U.S.A.) Jan. 30, 1933, No. 2892. Convention date, Jan. 30, 1932. [Class 37.] An indicating carriage 11 is moved simultaneously with the tuning movement in, for example, a radio receiver, as by cords 12, along a scale 8. The indications given by the pointer 14 are corrected by superimposed movements effected through the medium of a cam follower 17 running on a cam surface 19, varied empirically by adjusting screws 23, the pointer 14 being mounted so as to permit of lateral movement on set-screws 15 according to the cam surface. The device may be used for giving exact indications of the frequency to which the receiver is tuned. |
