[Class 132 (ii).] A golf bag a, Figs. 1 and 2, with an indeformable opening has a hood b formed of flexible material with an aperture adapted to be closed by interlocking flexible strips b<1> attached to the edge of the aperture. A part b<4> of the lower edge of the hood, Figs. 2 and 4, is permanently attached to the bag a and the other part b<5> is temporarily secured thereto by press studs or other fastening means. Integral with or attached to the bag is a pocket d arranged adjacent to the edge b<4> of the hood. This pocket is adapted to receive the hood when it is turned down and the bag is in use. This pocket may be closed by a flap or by means of interlocking flexible strips d<3>, Fig. 2. In a modified construction the hood b and pocket d are provided with centrally arranged closable apertures.</p> |
