Board connection for the edge joining of boards

The connector has a pre-tensioned connecting element (3) i.e. flat band made of polymeric material, inserted into mutually alignable recesses (4, 5) of plates (1, 2) for shock-side connection of the plates with each other. The recesses are formed by spaced apart groove-shaped segments (6, 7). The segments are juxtaposed with shock-to-end arrangements (8, 9) of the plates. A tensioning compartment i.e. continuous shaft, is axially extended between the plates. The connecting element is insertable in the compartment by redirecting power flow of an intermittent grip.
