PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce pressure fluctuation in a refrigerant tank due to the liquefying cycle of a refrigerator.SOLUTION: A cryostat includes: a refrigerant tank 2 in which the liquid refrigerant is housed; a refrigerator 5 which has a re-condensation chamber 8 communicating with a gas phase space 10 above the liquid level of the liquid refrigerant in the refrigerant tank 2 via a connection part 14 and in which the refrigerant evaporated in the refrigerant tank 2 is re-condensed in the re-condensation chamber 8; a heater 17 which is arranged and installed at the refrigerator 5; and control means 22 for controlling a current or voltage applied to the heater 17 so that the pressure fluctuation in the refrigerator 5 due to the liquefying cycle of the refrigerator 5 is cancelled. |
