PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drip-proof structure of a rotation type electronic component with an illumination mechanism capable of achieving effective drip-proof.SOLUTION: Electronic components 155 (a-e) are mounted on one surface of a circuit board 150, and a rotary knob 100 is arranged on the other surface. Detection means (a slider 130 and a slide pattern 153) changing an output depending on rotation of the rotary knob 100 is provided. The circuit board 150 and the rotary knob 100 are housed in first, second, and third cases 10, 50, and 250. A knob operation surface 105 of the rotary knob 100 is exposed from an opening 251 of the third case 250. An light-emitting element 155a, and a light guide body 200 introducing light emitted from the light-emitting element 155a and making the knob operation surface 105 emit light, are installed in the first, second, and third cases 10, 50, and 250. The light guide body 200 is constructed to cover the electronic components 155 on one surface of the circuit board 150, and thereby, infiltration of liquid infiltrated from the opening 251 of the third case 250 to the electronic components 155 can be prevented. |
