PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformize the thickness of a slurry film formed on a substrate even when discharging of slurry is continued for a long time.SOLUTION: An apparatus 1 for manufacturing a polar plate for battery includes a die 10. On this die 10, a manifold 11 consisting of a space where slurry 3 is accumulated long in the width direction and a slit 12 which is connected to the manifold 11 and which discharges the slurry 3 against a substrate 2 are formed. The slurry 3 is supplied to the manifold 11 from an inflow portion formed at the center in the width direction of the die 10. On the die 10, outflow portions 31, 32, 33 and 34 which discharge the slurry 3 of the manifold 11 to the outside of the die 10 through a part other than the slit 12 are formed at both ends 11a and 11b in the width direction and parts 11c and 11d halfway between these both ends 11a and 11b. |
