PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To equalize temperatures in an apparatus for producing hydrogen having a plurality of electrolysis cells.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment of the present invention, an apparatus 100 for producing hydrogen includes a plurality of electrolysis cells 10a, 10b which receives the supply of fuel to produce hydrogen. Each of the electrolysis cells 10a, 10b includes a solid oxide electrolyte membrane having oxygen ion permeability, a hydrogen electrode adjacent to a first surface of the membrane, an oxygen electrode adjacent to a second surface opposite to the first surface, and a cell container 21 which forms a hydrogen side space together with the membrane, the space receiving the fuel from a fuel-receiving port and flowing hydrogen out from a hydrogen-recovering port. The electrolysis cells 10a, 10b are extends mutually parallel respectively in a longitudinal direction, and the electrolysis cells 10a, 10b adjacent to each other are mutually reverse with respect to directions toward the hydrogen-recovering port from the fuel-receiving port. |
