PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article inspection device capable easily switching over to a specimen with a different form in inspection of mass-produced articles.SOLUTION: An article inspection device 1, having inspection means, using an X-ray 7, for sequentially inspecting a battery 2 transported to an inspection position one after another, includes: a conveyer 3 for conveying a battery 2 to the inspection position 5 in a conveying direction VA and further from the inspection position 5; a partition plate 29, disposed on a placing surface of the conveyer 3, for partitioning the battery 2 in the conveying direction VA, the partition plate consisting of a front partition plate 29a and a rear partition plate 29b for limiting a position of the battery 2 on both sides of the conveying direction VA; and a partition plate interval variation mechanism 32 for changing and setting a distance d between the front and rear partition plates. |
