PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus configured to separate a developing roller from a photoreceptor in drawing a support member and to separate them from each other during image formation and standby state, in a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A developing cartridge 12 having a developing roller 13 facing a photoreceptor drum 9 is arranged in a first contact position and a second contact position in color printing mode and monochrome printing mode, while arranging a drawer frame 11 in an inside position. In printing standby mode, the developing cartridge is arranged in a first separate position. When the drawer frame 11 is moved to an outside position, the developing cartridge is arranged in a second separate position which is separated farther than the first separate position. |
