PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new boron compound suitable for boron neutron capture therapy.SOLUTION: The above problem is solved by obtaining a composition for boron neutron capture therapy, comprising a boron-containing rare earth compound as an active ingredient, by the steps of: mixing a boron compound solution with a rare earth compound solution; and obtaining a precipitate of the boron-containing rare earth compound from the mixed liquor obtained by the step. |
