The invention provides a vehicle inclination detection device which, by improving existing functions that a vehicle has, realizes detection of relatively large inclination of a vehicle boy without using a special component such as an inclination sensor. A first area (A1) and a second area (A2) are set in a fuel tank (18), the first area (A1) is an area where fuel in the fuel tank (18) can be used, the second area (A2) is located at a side close to a bottom wall (18b) of the fuel tank (18) relative to the first area (A1), in a state that a floater location detection mechanism (33) detects that at least a part of the floater (31) is located in the first area (A1), a signal processing device (41) calculates the residual amount of fuel according to the location of the floater (31), and in addition, if the signal processing device (41) detects the whole floater (31) is located in the second area (A2) based on the floater location detection mechanism (33), the vehicle body (B) is judged to be in an inclined state. |
