The present invention relates to a sliding door for vehicles comprising an inner door panel (2) onto which a center roller assembly is mounted which includes at least a roller (5) being supported by a roller bracket (4) which is connected to an attachment bracket (12) via a plurality of connecting means (16). The inner door panel (2) is interposed between the roller bracket (4) and the attachment bracket (12), wherein the connecting means (16) each pass through respective long holes (6) formed in the roller bracket (4) and corresponding long holes (8) formed in the inner door panel (2). The longitudinal axes of the long holes (6) formed in the roller bracket (4) are perpendicular to the longitudinal axes of the long holes (8) formed in the inner door panel (2).
