PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection device improved in operation environment of a driving device capable of being attached/detached to/from or releasably engaged with a plunger or a member fixed to the plunger.SOLUTION: The injection device 1 includes: a sleeve 3 communicating to a cavity 105; a plunger 5 for extruding molten metal in the sleeve 3 to the cavity 105; an intermediate rod 7 concentrically connected to the back end of the plunger 5; an injection cylinder 9 concentrically connected to the back end of the intermediate rod 7; and a driving device 13 arranged to the injection cylinder 9 in parallel. The driving device 13 includes a base part 59 restricted in a relative forward movement with respect to a piston rod 27 and also allowed to make relative backward movement with respect to the piston rod 27 by contact or attachment/detachment at the further back than the center position of the intermediate rod 7, and can drive the base part 59 in a moving direction of the piston rod 27. |
