PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system and a communication control method which can inhibit arithmetic throughput relevant to channel allocation in cooperative diversity communication.SOLUTION: In a communication system: an access point notifies a control device of channel priority updated based on a status of co-channel interference; a terminal device transmits a communication request including information that indicates a candidate access point determined based on a predetermined communication status index with each access point; the control device determines a candidate access point which satisfies a certain condition from among candidate access points indicated by the information included in the communication request as a master access point; and the control device determines an allocated channel on the basis of the channel priority notified from the access point from among unused channels at the master access point.
