PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a mirror from being tilted again when a tilting mechanism tilts the mirror.SOLUTION: A door mirror device 10 for a vehicle is configured such that when a mirror 14 is automatically tilted from a present position toward a target position, in a case in which a stop position of the mirror 14 generates an error against the target position, the error is memorized and the mirror 14 is tilted from the stop position to the target position. Thereafter, when the mirror 14 is automatically tilted from the present position toward the target position, the mirror 14 is automatically tilted toward a corrected target position in which the error is corrected. Accordingly, the stop position of the mirror 14 generating an error against the target position can be prevented, and the mirror 14 can be prevented from being automatically tilted again from the stop position to the target position. |
