PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet embedded type motor capable of significantly reducing cogging torque.SOLUTION: The permanent magnet embedded type motor comprises: a stator (100) including a stator winding wire (120) wound around a stator core (104); and a rotor (150) in which a plurality of permanent magnets (162) are embedded in a rotor core (152). The rotor (150) includes a magnetic pole piece (184) which is formed in the rotor core (152) closer to the stator than the permanent magnets (162). The permanent magnets (162) embedded in the rotor core (152) are magnetized so as to alternately change their stator side polarities for each magnetic pole along a rotating direction. Auxiliary permanent magnets (172) are further embedded in the magnetic pole piece (184), and the auxiliary permanent magnets (172) are magnetized in such a manner that a polarity on a surface at a central side of the magnetic pole piece (184) in the rotating direction becomes the same as the polarity of the magnetic pole piece (184). |
