A rivet (1) for connecting different materials, equipped with: a shaft part (2), which is inserted into a first material to be joined (200), and the tip of which is welded to a second material to be joined (300) that is a different type of material than the first material to be joined (200); and a plate-shaped head part (3) provided at the base end on the opposite side from the tip of the shaft part (2) in the axial direction. A first chamfered part (30), which is located at the outer edge of the surface in contact with the first material to be joined (200), an annular groove (31), which is located around the shaft part in the surface in contact with the first material to be joined (200), and a flat part (32), which is located between the first chamfered surface (30) and the annular groove (31) on the surface in contact with the first material to be joined (200), are formed on the head part (3). The rivet (1) for connecting different materials is formed of the same type of material as the second material (300). |
