The invention relates to a mechanism which is intended to secure sliding sashes and be adapted to new or existing profiles opening via an embedded lock or a handle 6. Said mechanism is provided with apertures 3 enabling the screwing of the sliding profile and composed of the guide case 1 having the configuration 8 into which the rod 9 is moving, conveying the movement of the securing means through the screw 5 to the moving pins 2 which pins secure the sliding profile on the casement-mounted strike plate 13.
