Provided is a polybutylene terephthalate resin composition having significantly good flame-retardant characteristics, good mechanical properties, and good impact resistance (including not only impact resistance at room temperature but also impact resistance at low temperatures). In the present invention, a specific elastomer and a polycarbonate are mixed with polybutylene terephthalate to which a flame retardant has been mixed. The specific elastomer is a core-shell type elastomer in which the core is a styrene-butadiene rubber and the shell is an alkyl (meth)acrylate. In this polybutylene terephthalate resin composition, it is necessary to adjust the content of the core-shell type elastomer to be from 5 mass% or greater to 20 mass% or less. |
