A vehicle seat (20) includes a seat cushion (22) that is rotatably joined to a floor portion (10) of a vehicle such that an axial direction of the seat cushion (22) is aligned in an up-down direction of the seat (20), and that supports a buttocks portion of a seated vehicle occupant (P); and a footrest (40) that is joined to the seat cushion (22) and supports soles of feet of the seated vehicle occupant (P), and that is placed in a raised position in which, when seen in a seat side view, the footrest (40) slopes upwards towards a seat rear side such that heel portions of the seated vehicle occupant (P) are raised up, and a rear-end portion (40R) of the footrest is placed at a seat rear side of a front end of the seat cushion (22). |
