The device has a heating element (10) comprising a connection bolt (24) that extends out from a heating tube (12). A sealing element (26) is arranged within a sealing portion (16) between the heating tube and the connection bolt. The sealing element is designed as a deformable steatite ring from steatite and pressed by radial pressing force (18) in the sealing portion between the heating tube and the connection bolt. A pressure ring made of ceramic material is assigned to the sealing element and axially supported in a circumferential bead of the heating tube. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a heating device. |
