A granular detergent composition comprising 0.1 to 10 wt% soluble coloured lamellar visual cues made from a soluble film, each soluble coloured lamellar visual cue having a planar cross-sectional area of from 5mm2 to 100 mm2, the relative density of the film being from 0.2 to 0.8 kg/l and the film comprising 10 to 90 wt% surfactant.
