1. An image forming device comprising:
a first establishment unit configured to:
accept an entry of authentication information for enabling the image forming device to sign in on a server;transmit, to the server, a sign-in request comprising the accepted authentication information; andestablish a connection with the server in response to receiving from the server an authentication result indicating that the image forming device has successfully signed in on the server; a termination unit configured to:
upon receipt of a first sign-out instruction, transmit a first sign-out request to the server, wherein the first sign-out request includes a prohibition request to request that the server set a value of a connection request setting in the image forming device to OFF and to request that the server not transmit a connection request to the image forming device, and wherein the first sign-out request operates to terminate the connection between the first establishment unit and the server; andupon a particular period of time elapsing without receiving a job or receiving a first sign-out instruction, transmit a second sign-out request to the server, wherein the second sign-out request is transmitted without a prohibition request and wherein the second sign-out request operates to request that the server set the value of the connection request setting in the image forming device to ON and to terminate the connection between the first establishment unit and the server; and a second establishment unit configured to:
after the termination unit has terminated the connection with the server via the second sign-out request, receive from the server a connection request having the authentication information added thereto; andin response to receiving the connection request from the server, transmit to the server the authentication information added to the connection request, and establish a connection with the server without requiring a re-entry of authentication information.
