An illumination device includes a conversion unit that controls an emission direction of light emitted from a light-emitting unit included in the illumination device. The conversion unit includes a ball-shaped main body, and may be formed between an upper body, which includes the light-emitting unit, and a lower body. An assembly unit may be formed in the upper body to couple the conversion unit, and the light emission direction may be appropriately controlled by controlling the shape of the ball-shaped main body.

1. An illumination device, comprising:
an upper body on which a light-emitting unit that emits light is mounted; a lower body that provides a power path to the light-emitting unit; a conversion unit coupled to the lower body; and an assembly unit that assembles the conversion unit to the upper body such that the conversion unit converts an emission direction of light emitted from the light-emitting unit of the upper body, wherein the conversion unit comprises a ball-shaped main body unit, and wherein the conversion unit comprises a tap formed by extending from the main body unit, and the tap is coupled to the lower body.
