[Class 108 (iii)] [See also Group XVI] The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 describes an addressing-machine comprising a stencil which is drawn back along a guideway by springs after each printing operation, the return movement is cushioned by a dashpot comprising a piston 94 fixed to the stencil-holder by a rod 95 and adapted to move in a cylinder 93 provided with a small air hole 87 which is partially covered late in the piston stroke by a plate 89 fixed to the piston. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
