The device has a hydraulic sub-assembly (1) including a container (2) for containing a liquid catalyst, and an aeraulic sub-assembly (10) including a mixing volume (11) to be traversed by oxidant stream. An aspiration tube (4) is connected to an aspiration pump (14) extending from the container until proximity to the volume. A plate (13) is placed in the volume so as to receive a part of the liquid catalyst aspirated by the tube. The container includes an inlet (6) for returning the liquid catalyst that is not consumed in the volume, to the container. An independent claim is also included for a method for improving performance of a boiler. |
