[Class 20 (iii)] A window frame, particularly for ships, is made in two parts of different metals, one part comprising an angle-frame 1 of a metal such as steel, bolted to the structure, and the second part, comprising the outer and inner stops 3, 4, and channel 5, being made of non- ferrous metal and insulated by a strip 6 from the first part. An insulating strip is also provided between the stop 3 and the channel 5. When a pressure frame is provided, the outer stop is recessed to receive a bearing strip 11. The channel 5 is lined with felt. |
