A bone density measuring device according to this invention is provided with a fixture for adjustably fixing the angle of a leg of a subject with respect to an X-ray imaging system, wherein an internal rotation angle is input as the angle of the leg and registered into an internal rotation angle registration field 13a for use in the next test. The bone density measuring device also stores test history information including the internal rotation angle, reads and outputs the test history information corresponding to a subject to be examined during a test, and thereby retrieves past test history information during a test for use in the next test. The bone density measuring device also stores test history information for each subject, and therefore, can retrieve an internal rotation angle corresponding to a subject to be examined during a test together with the test history information. As a result, during a test on the same subject, the leg can be positioned at the same internal rotation angle, so that the reproducibility of the test performed by imaging the leg is improved. |
