A suction device 10 is provided with a spiral-flow forming body 1 for forming a spiral flow to suction a suction object F using the Bernoulli effect and a case 2 accommodating the spiral-flow forming body 1 to guide the flow of a fluid flowing out from a recess 12 in the spiral-flow forming body 1. The case 2 is provided with a guide 21, a flange 22, and a lid 23. The guide 21 controls the flow of the fluid flowing out from the recess 12 in the spiral-flow forming body 1 along an edge surface 13 and guides the flow in the direction of increasing distance from the position of the suction object F. The flange 22, along with the edge surface 13, form a flow path for the fluid flowing out from the recess 12. The lid 23 is secured to the upper surface of a main body 11 of the spiral-flow forming body 1. |
