A hook terminal is disclosed, the terminal including: a hook unit formed with an upper side-opened fixing groove into which a cable of several strands can be inserted; a fixing unit integrally formed with a bottom side of the hook unit and fixed to a main body; a cable disengagement prevention unit formed at an upper end of the hook unit to inhibit the cable from being disengaged; and a plurality of pressure lugs formed at the hook unit to inhibit the cable from moving to an axial direction by applying pressure to an external surface of the cable, whereby the cable disengagement prevention unit fixing the cable by way of hot pressing work inhibits the cable of several strands from being disengaged and from moving to an axial direction.

A method for fixing at least two cables at a hook terminal that comprises a fixing unit coupled with a main body and comprising a through hole, a hook unit extended from the fixing unit and comprising a first support pad and a second support pad spaced from the first support pad to form a fixing groove between the first support pad and the second support pad, and a plurality of pressure lugs formed at a portion of an inner surface of the hook unit, the method for fixing at least two cables at a hook terminal comprising steps of:
coupling the main body to the fixing unit by injection molding, wherein a portion of the main body is accommodated in the through hole of the fixing unit; inserting at least two cables into the fixing groove formed between the first support pad and the second support pad, wherein one of the at least two cables is contacted with the plurality of pressure lugs; and deforming an upper portion of the hook unit by the hot press work to prevent the at least two cables from being disengaged after the at least two cables are inserted into the fixing groove, wherein the upper portion of the hook unit is thermally deformed in a direction in which the first and second support pads are closer to each other.
