The invention relates to a method for carrying out screening of persons in a screening corridor (10), in which the persons (20) to be screened when passing through the screening corridor (10) carry a mobile device (22) which allows the position of the person (20) inside the screening corridor (10) to be determined, the mobile devices (22) of the persons (20) to be screened transmit biometric reference values to be checked of the person (20) as identification data of the person to a screening entity (100) via a communication link. By means of at least one detection device (40), the screening entity (100) detects position-dependent biometric actual values of the persons (20) to be screened, the positions of the persons (20) to be screened within the screening corridor (10) are determined with the aid of the mobile devices (22) carried by said persons, and the screening entity (100) checks the correspondence of the position-dependent detected biometric actual values and the biometric reference values belonging to the persons (20) located in the respective positions transmitted from the mobile devices (22), and makes a screening decision on the basis of the test result regarding the identity of the screened persons (20). |
