There is described techniques for managing airline resources. A first passenger flow solution is determined corresponding to a first time-space network of flights, the time-space network comprising a plurality of nodes and a plurality of edges, wherein each node has an associated location and an associated time and wherein each edge interconnects two nodes and has an associated cost and an associated passenger capacity. A second passenger flow solution is then determined corresponding to a second time space network of flights using the first passenger flow solution for the first time space network of flights.
