[Solution] Provided is an image processing device, comprising a width acquisition unit which acquires the tape width of a tape upon which a character image is printed, and an option setting unit which sets, according to the acquired tape width, a maximum option which is the maximum selectable option among a plurality of options for having the user select a point number of the character image, such that the character image is not greater than the tape.
