The present invention relates to: earphones enabling a terminal to be implemented by allowing user convenience to also be taken into consideration; a mobile terminal employing the same; and a control method therefor, the earphones comprising: an earphone jack; a first microphone unit; a noise cancellation unit for cancelling a noise component around the earphones; and an interface unit for transmitting power supplied from the mobile terminal to the noise cancellation unit, wherein the interface unit can change a connection switch between the interface unit and at least one of a first speaker unit, a second speaker unit, and the first microphone unit on the basis of a mode of the mobile terminal, while the power is delivered to the noise cancellation unit through a microphone line of the earphone jack.
