[Problem] To provide: an information processing system that makes it possible to convert attribute data into a parameter that can be converted into an expression a user can understand intuitively; an information processing method; and a recording medium. [Solution] An information processing system provided with: a communication unit that receives N pieces of attribute data related to a subject of observation with which multiple people are associated; and a control unit for converting the N pieces of attribute data into a number M of parameters that can be converted into an emotional expression, said number M being less than N.
