Provided is a relay device in a mobile communication system that supports a device-to-device (D2D) feature, wherein the relay device is provided with: a transmission means for transmitting, by a second carrier, a notification message indicating that it is possible to perform a relay process in which a message received by a first carrier is transmitted by the second carrier; and a relay means for transmitting, by the second carrier, a message received by the first carrier.
