In this information processing device, a display control unit (22a) displays a dialog window. Then when an encrypted folder is to be decrypted, a user pushes an "Open" button that is disposed on the dialog window and is associated with the encrypted folder. Upon the user pushing the "Open" button, a reception unit (25) receives this push operation and determines whether a hide setting has been set to "On" for the folder associated with the "Open" button. If the hide setting has been set to "On" for the folder, then an expansion unit (26) expands the folder and displays the expanded folder in a display window. A decryption control unit (27) then decrypts the files in the folder in a predetermined order.
