Provided are a pattern-formed body, a card, and printed matter in which a degree of freedom in arrangement of patterns that are to be formed is increased by the line thickness of patterns. A card 1 has multiple minute characters 61 arranged thereon, and is provided with: minute patterns 60 which have thin line sections 65 formed by thin lines and thick line sections 66 formed by thick lines; and large patterns 70 which are formed by the thin line sections 65 and the thick line sections 66 of the minute patterns 60.
