The invention relates to an adjustable pedal (10) for a motor vehicle, comprising a pedal arm (12) which is mounted on a bearing block such that it can pivot about a pedal axis (a) and which has a hinge point (14) for coupling to a device to be actuated by the pedal (10), the hinge point (14) being spaced from the pedal axis (a) by a first lever arm length (L1); a pedal base body (16) which is mounted on the pedal arm (12) and which can be adjusted relative to the pedal arm (12); a pedal plate (22) which is provided at a bearing point (24) at the lower end of the pedal base body (16), the bearing point (24) of the pedal plate (22) being spaced from the pedal axis (a) by a second lever arm length (L2); and an adjusting unit (100) which acts as a drive on the pedal base body (16) and by means of which the pedal base body (16) and the pedal plate (22) arranged thereon carry out an arcuate adjusting movement relative to the pedal arm (12), thereby bringing about a change in the second lever arm length (L2). The invention is characterized in that the hinge point (14) is mounted such that it can be adjusted relative to the pedal arm (12) and in that the adjusting unit (100) also acts as a drive on the adjustably mounted hinge point (14), and the hinge point (14) can be adjusted relative to the pedal arm (12) by means of the adjusting unit (100), thereby bringing about a change in the first lever arm length (L1). |
