PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chain capable of preventing abrasion powder from being exhausted.SOLUTION: A chain 1 is constituted so that a pin 18 is inserted in a cylindrical bush 15, outer links 11 are mounted to both ends of the pin 18 and inner links 13 are mounted to both ends of the bush 15. In the chain 1, an end 15a of the bush 15 is inserted in the outer link 11, and a pocket 11a formed by bumping a thickness direction range including an end face 15c of the bush 15 into an almost U-shape toward an outside direction of a flat plane of the outer link 11 from the pin 18 is provided on the outer link 11 in a circumferential direction of the pin 18. During using the chain 1, abrasion powder 20 generated by abrading the pin 18 and the bush 15 is retained in the pocket 11a provided on the outer link 11 when it exits from the end face 15c of the bush 15 through between the pin 18 and the bush 15. Therefore, the powder can be prevented from being exhausted to the outside. |
