An absorbent article (1) provided with an absorbent core (4), which is long in the front-to-back direction of the absorbent article, and has a discharging area-facing section (B), which is disposed facing the liquid-discharging area of the wearer, and a back section (C), which is disposed behind same. The absorbent core (4) has a front crown region (41) in the middle of the discharging area-facing section (B) in the width direction and a back crown region (42) in the middle of the back section (C) in the width direction. The front crown region (41) and the back crown region (42) are each thicker than the thickness of the surrounding areas (43) of the absorbent core and are each divided by grooves (44) that extend in the width direction (Y) of the absorbent core. Multiple small absorbent parts (45, 48) are formed to line up along the longitudinal direction (X) of the absorbent core (4). The length (c) of the small absorbent parts (48) of the back crown region (42) is shorter than the length (b) of the small absorbent parts (45) of the front crown region (41). |
