PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car body structure capable of increasing the vertical layout freedom of a damper housing and safely and surely holding the open state of the lid material of a bonnet or the like.SOLUTION: The car body structure includes an engine room 3 disposed in a car body 1 and having an opening 3a, a bonnet fitted to the car body 1 via a hinge 51, and rotated around the hinge 51 with respect to the car body 1 to open/close the opening 3a, a damper member 16 which is disposed in the engine room 3 and to which a suspension 60 for regulating the vertical movement of a wheel is fitted, and a stay 20 disposed in the engine room 3 and configured to hold the bonnet in its open state. In the closed state of the bonnet, the entire stay 20 is housed closer to a side opposite the hinge 51 than the damper member 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
