摘要 Invention relates to an on-site residual stress creation tool (100) for treating a crankshaft bearing surface inside an internal combustion piston en- gine comprising a body structure (102) and a residual stress treatment device (104) for treating the bearing surfaceand/or crankshaft bearing fillet, in which the body structure comprises a support part (106) attachable around a supported shaft journal or a crank web of the crankshaft and an attachment part (108) coupled to the support part, and the body structure (102) comprises a bearing structure (107) by means of which the attachment (108) part may be supported by the support part (106) when attached to the crankshaft (14) and arranged coaxially rotatable around a journal (16) of the crankshaft, and the residual stress treatment device (104) is arranged to the attachment part (108) of the body structure, and the residual stress creation tool (100) further comprises a drive system to rotate the attachment part and the residual stress treatment device(104)in respect to the support part.
